Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026. At TRYON, we value your trust. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data Collection & Processing

We collect data needed to provide TRYON features, including:

  • Images you upload or capture to generate virtual try-on results
  • Account data (for example, email, account identifiers, and sign-in method information)
  • Usage and diagnostics data to operate, secure, and improve TRYON
  • Profile information (username, display name, bio, profile photo, and links you add)
  • Posts, comments, likes, follows, and related social activity you create in the app
  • Reports you submit about content or users
  • Information we access for trust and safety, including reported content, moderation reviews, and account enforcement records (including for private accounts when needed for reports, legal compliance, or safety)
  • Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
  • Device and installation identifiers used for fraud prevention, free-credit limits, and subscription validation
  • Moderation and safety records (for example, warnings or enforcement actions linked to your account)
  • Block records when you block another user

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with independent companies that help us run TRYON. They process personal data only on our instructions, under contractual safeguards, and not for their own unrelated purposes.

Cloud hosting and authentication providers

To create and secure your account, sign you in, store app data, host content (such as profile photos and try-on results), deliver push notifications where enabled, and keep the service available and reliable.

Payment processors

To process payments you authorize, including in-app purchases through mobile app stores and eligible web checkout flows. These providers handle billing, receipts, and related transaction records.

Subscription and billing partners

To manage subscription status, entitlements, purchase history synchronization, restore purchases, and validate that a paid plan is linked to the correct TRYON account.

Analytics and advertising measurement partners

To measure app performance, understand how features are used, diagnose errors, and—where enabled—evaluate marketing effectiveness. On iOS, cross-app tracking–related processing is subject to App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and your device settings.

Artificial intelligence and processing providers

To operate generative and automated features (such as virtual try-on, tagging, styling, and body measurement). This includes sending images and related inputs you submit so TRYON can generate results for you. Outputs are simulations for visualization; see our Terms of Use for more detail.

We may add or change providers over time as we improve TRYON. We require them to protect personal data and use it only to deliver services to us.

We do not sell personal information as “sale” is defined by CCPA/CPRA. We do not allow service providers to use your personal information for their own independent advertising unrelated to operating TRYON.

3. Analytics, Measurement, and Tracking

We may use analytics and diagnostics for app reliability and product improvement.

On iOS, where required, we request permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before cross-app tracking-related access. You can manage tracking permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Additionally, analytics and advertising measurement partners may receive limited event or device-related data as described in Section 2. The categories of data shared depend on your platform, settings, and whether you grant tracking permission on iOS.

4. Data Retention & Storage

  • Uploaded source images: retained temporarily to provide the virtual try-on service
  • Generated try-on results, history, and account-linked data: retained while your account is active, or until you delete items or delete your account
  • Social posts, comments, and profile data: retained while your account is active, or until you delete the content or your account
  • Moderation and safety records: retained as needed to enforce our Terms of Use, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes
  • Device-linked free-credit and subscription-validation records: retained as needed to prevent fraud and abuse
  • Deletion requests: account and data deletion requests are processed within applicable legal and operational timelines (typically within 30 days where feasible)

5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal of decisions about your personal data.

To submit a request, email admin@tryonapp.xyz with subject: “Privacy Request”.

For California and certain U.S. states:

  • Categories may include identifiers, commercial information, usage activity, visual data (photos), and social or community activity
  • We do not sell personal information
  • We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by applicable law

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Mobile Identifiers

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for core functionality and preferences.

Our mobile apps may use local storage, device identifiers, and installation identifiers for login sessions, subscription validation, free-credit limits, fraud prevention, push delivery, and security operations. Advertising-related identifiers on iOS are subject to ATT and user settings.

7. International Transfers

TRYON is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the UAE, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers maintain facilities.

Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms).

While your information is processed outside your country, it may be subject to access by foreign courts, law enforcement, or regulators under applicable local law in certain circumstances.

By using TRYON, you understand that your personal information may be processed in countries other than where you live.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and restricted access to systems on a need-to-know basis.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

9. Business Transfers

If TRYON is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and, where required, notice to you.

10. Children’s Privacy

TRYON is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we learn such data was collected, we will delete it.

11. Legal Basis (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more legal grounds: performance of contract, legitimate interests (service security and improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.

12. Social Features, Moderation & Safety

Private accounts and moderation access

If you set your account to private, other users generally cannot see your posts or profile unless you approve them as followers.

Private settings do not prevent TRYON from accessing, reviewing, processing, preserving, or disclosing your information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to operate the service, enforce our Terms of Use, respond to reports, investigate abuse, comply with law, protect users, or maintain security.

When a user reports content or an account, we may review the reported item, related account information, and associated content — including content on private accounts — to decide whether action is required.

If you block another user, we store block records to enforce your preference. We do not sell your social content for advertising.

13. UAE Data Protection

TRYON is operated by TRYON GENERAL TRADING-L.L.C - S.P.C, registered in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Where applicable, we process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL). You may submit data rights requests to admin@tryonapp.xyz with subject: “Privacy Request.”
